On LBP how do you do the trophie ‘QuickFire Artiste’?

Question by Ye Olde Stupid: On LBP how do you do the trophie ‘QuickFire Artiste’?
I have the Metal Gear Solid 4 game packs, but I can’t do this trophy. I am a trophy collector so I would like an extra trophy XD
I have tried:
pressing R1 really fast for 5 seconds but failed
when I’m creating a level; pausing time, shooting a load of paint balls, un pausing time
please help me!
Don’t just say ‘it’s only a bronze trophie, no one cares’ cuz I DO

Your goal here is to fire 40 bullets in 5 seconds. This is.. more tedious than it sounds. As soon as you obtain the paintball gun, whip out your Muhammed Ali parkinsons skills, and slam that R1 butten as fast as your finger can possibly handle.

Don’t just do it in 5 second bursts, but keep on going. You’ll be like an engine, revving up, eventually reaching the 40:5 ratio. Then, after you get out of motorskill rehab 3 days later, you’ll find that you got yourself a trophy. :]

Paintball gear advice..?

Question by Amanda: Paintball gear advice..?
Hey, I’m going paint balling with a group of friends (mostly guys) in 2 weeks. I know getting hit with those things hurts and also leaves bruises plus it’s the middle of November, so what should i wear to layer up from both of those and still TRY to look cute? lol Also, what footwear is best? I’m super excited but dont wanna come back looking like polka dots.

Thank you!

i suggest wearing atleast one sweatshirt thats a pull over instead of a zipper one and under it maybe a tee shirt and a long sleeve shirt. or u could just wear two sweatshirts. if ur really worried about it dicks sporting goods store sells chest protectors at there stores now i don’t recommend that because its bulky and only really protects a limited area. i d suggest buying a neck protector cause getting shot in the neck really really sucks. for shoes any form of hiking boots or something along those line would be fine.

Keep it safe and don?t eat those paintballs – 10 Essential Paintball Safety Tips

Keep it safe and don?t eat those paintballs – 10 Essential Paintball Safety Tips

The fact that Paintball involves a gun – doesn’t automatically turn it into a dangerous sport. Not at all. Horseback riding can be much more risky. Heck, even playing Scrabble at home can be more dangerous than Paintball, especially if you go for a word that has more than 10 letters in it. People tend to think that Paintball is dangerous because it seems like a violent sport. But Paintball has everything a fine sport should have, whether it’s physical activity, strategy or healthy competition – Paintball really sticks out.

Paintball can be dangerous at times, but only if a player will not follow the basic safety rules. So before playing Paintball, the next safety instructions should be taken into serious consideration.

Respect the Game. A baseball bat can send balls out of the field, but it can also knock off mailboxes. Paintball guns should be used for only one thing – playing Paintball. Never shoot Paintball guns at home or at your friends. Don’t use the guns except for practice or while playing. Do not even think about shooting or practicing on animals. It’s dangerous, illegal and really not funny. You want even make it on youtube. Play only in designated areas and avoid practicing around population. If you play outside an organized Paintball field, find a secluded field or forest and make sure that no one that shouldn’t be there is around. Protect Yourself – Wear a helmet at all times. Even if it seems that Paintball doesn’t really hurt your body, a direct hit can pop your eye out. Oh, and your dad’s safety goggles that you found in the garage – are not suitable for Paintball.  Protect your throat and ears most, but wearing heavier clothes is also preferred. Replace your gear – if you find a crack in the mask, don’t use it. Never use a damaged CO2 tank as well. Paintball is a sport! Treat it that way. Starch before you play and drink a lot of water. Don’t engage in any unsportsmanlike activity. Be fair to yourself and to your friends and don’t fool around. “I didn’t think my gun is loaded” isn’t good enough! Never aim at anybody for fun, even if you think your gun is not loaded. When you finish playing, empty the gun and turn the safety switch on. Have someone in charge. Appoint a referee and give him a whistle. He should be the only one who can start the game and the one to end it, especially if something wrong happens. Make sure that your marker does not exceed the 300 fps limit. Setting the gun to shoot in higher speeds can be very dangerous to other players. Don’t be a private gun manufacturer. Don’t turn your vacuum cleaner into a marker. Don’t make your own paintballs and don’t even think about using frozen Paintballs. Don’t try to fix your own gun as well. If you have trouble with the air pressure, have an expert take a look at it. The air system can be dangerous to you and your friends. Never shoot anyone at close range! This one was picked at a Paintball forum – Don’t eat the paintballs. Yes, it sounds ridiculous, but forget the fact that they are dangerous to your body – they also taste awful and the red ones are not strawberry flavored!

Types of Safety Glasses: Which Are The Best?

Types of Safety Glasses: Which Are The Best?

When it comes to safety glasses, the question always rises as to which ones are best. The best safety glasses are the right ones for the type of work you are doing at the time. If you are a welder, the glasses that are “best” for you will have some differences from those for a gunman or construction worker.

The fact is it is no longer necessary to risk your eyesight no matter what you are doing. Swimming, skydiving welding, or nailing. There is a safety glass designed to standards for just about everything. And they are getting better looking and more fashionable all the time. They can be prescription or not.

In order for glasses to be considered safety glasses they have to fit into a certain set of standards. The United States Government has developed specific guidelines for these glasses. The OSHA sees to it that they are enforced in the workplace.

The best safety glasses have lenses that can withstand high impacts without shattering. They used to be regulated at 3mm thick but with the technological advances they can be thinner now and still pass the testing.

]]>

The test is one in which a ball is dropped that is 1inch in diameter from 50feet in the air the lens should be able to withstand the compression and stress of the force. It must not chip, crack nor break. The same goes for the high velocity test.

If you were an avid fisherman a pair of safety glasses with a wraparound feature would be great. The lenses should be of a type that minimizes glare, this serves to purposes it allows you to see the water more clearly and makes your eyes more comfortable in the sunlight.

Hunters need glasses with a high impact rating as does carpenters. The use of a nail gun is similar to firing a weapon. These nail guns are capable of loosing a projectile that can kill. For a hunter or doing outdoor construction a light tint would be great. This cuts the glare and give you better visibility.

Head shields are one of the features that can be incorporated with the use of safety glasses. Welders and Paintball enthusiast wear this type of gear. The most important rule is to never remove the gear until you are sure the fun is over.

Over 700,000 Americans injure their eyes at work, another 40,000 adults and kids are injured playing sports. No one knows how many of the eye injuries are just unreported each year. If these numbers seem large to you then you know what you have to do. Make sure that your family is safe at home, work or play by getting the best type of safety glass for the occupation.

Sniper Paintball Gun

Sniper Paintball Gun

Out of all the position in the sport of paint ball games, one of the interesting and demanding is the position of the paintball sniper. The use of speed, agility and stealth to hide, track and shoot from a long range gives the position of the sniper very interesting aspects. With patience and practice, along with using the proper equipment, you will become a trained sniper. Sneaking around, hiding and then ambushing your opponent can lead to a whole lot of fun. Learning to use the proper equipment and your surroundings can be a little bit more difficult then you might first think it would be.

The most important piece of equipment in the sniper scenario is the paintball sniper gun. The barrel is longer in length. When Tippman Paintball Gun introduced the .68 Caliber 22 Inch Super Barrel, the sniper role just got a little more enjoyable. This sniper barrel is designed for the quite stealth that is needed for the role. The holes in the end of the barrel helps to keep the opponent from hearing you or your gun. Also important is the weight of the gun. If you are to be stationary and hold the gun in the same position for and extended amount of time, the weight is a big issue. You do not need to be shifting the gun around, moving to give away your position. Also if you are running, the weight of the gun will be an issue also.

]]>

It is a good idea to know your playing field. If it is the first time at the field, try to get there early and walk through the area. This knowledge will help to determine the paintball accessories you may need such a clothes, gear or any other paintball supplies you may need. You will want to blend in with the surrounding so the choice of clothing is important. If you will be stationary or moving around quite a bit may determine if you will need knee pads, elbow pads or such items. Make certain with the opposing team about the rules. It makes for a better game if both teams know the rules and there is no conflict later. For example, are both teams to use certain equipment like the paintball grenades or the land mines. Keeping the equimpent on both sides even makes for a better game.

Also, in the role of the sniper you will be seen or caught. Use each time to evaluate the hows and why you was caught. What could you have done to prevent this? Would simple things like a different color outfit for that terrain have helped? Was it some small movement of your body that caught the attention of the other team? Was a part of your body exposed? Would simple things like the knee or elbow pads have made you more comfortable and therefore not moved to have been caught? Would a vest that holds more supplies and accessories have helped?  Not many people are what is called natural born snipers so take a few minutes to determine why you was caught and what can be done to prevent it next time.  It takes the trail and error to become a skilled sniper, so have fun, learn as you go and enjoy the game.

The sniper paintball gun is made with a longer barrel with holes drilled in the end. This helps the paintball sniper to shoot farther and quiter so your position will not be given away.
